Fabricate a foil bag to fit the ribs. Place ribs in foil. Blend beer, Worcestershire and garlic together and pour over ribs, coating well. Seal foil bag tightly. Roast in 300 degree oven for 3 hours.
In pan, cook garlic and onions in oil for 2 minutes. Add remaining sauce ingredients,
blending well. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Cut open foil bag, completely exposing ribs. Drain off excess braising liquid. Spread a generous coat of sauce on tops of ribs. Leaving foil peeled back, place under broiler. Remove when sauce begins to brown and caramelize. Serve with extra sauce alongside.
